3 new Snapdragon chipsets: stronger and better
Qualcomm has just announced their newest chipsets- Snapdragon 653, 626, and 427. Those are the successor of SND 652, 625, and 425 respectively. The new Snapdragon SoCs will support smoother performance, better connectivity, clearer cameras, and more.
New Snapdragon chipsets: SND 653, 626, and 427
Snapdragon 652, 625, and 425 are the three popular mid-range chipsets from Qualcomm. This US company has just brought the successors of these three SoCs to the market – namely SND 653, 626, and 427. These new Snapdragon chipsets will enhance the performance and connectivity of future smartphones. Moreover, Qualcomm could probably add Quick Charge 3.0 to the new Snapdragon CPU. Besides many features in common, each of the three has its own abilities.
First, let’s take a look at SND 653. If you remember, this chipset used to show up on Antutu benchmark along with Oppo R9s Plus. Compared to SND 652, this SND 653 will improve performance to 10% with the maximum speed of 1.95Ghz. Not only is performance boosted, the RAM amount will be doubled to 8GB. This chipset also supports dual camera and X9 LTE which will make the sound quality of your calls clearer and better.
Like SND 653, SND 626 also upgrade the performance to 10% but with the maximum speed of 2.2Ghz. It also supports a dual camera and X9 LTE. Besides, this new Snapdragon chipset comes with Qualcomm TruSignal Antenna boost which will enhance the qualities of your data and voice connection and make them trusted. About SND 427, it will offer Trusted Antenna boost, dual camera, X9 LTE, and integrated DSP (digital signal processor).
New Snapdragon chipsets: release date
With these new Snapdragon chipsets, many low and mid-range smartphones now will have a chance to be equipped with a dual camera and Quick Charge 3.0. So, the best scenario is that, future smartphones can pack a dual camera with an affordable price. SND 653 release date, as well as SND 626, will be at the end of this year. SND 427 will be available in the early of next year- 2017.
