Coolpad Max: dual in one

After the Note 3 Plus, Coolpad has just launched its flagship smartphone – the Coopal Max- in India. The phone comes with a special feature: “Dual Space”. With Dual Space, users can separate their personal and business lives on your phone. That means you can create 2 accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Email and the other social media apps. Dual Space brings you an amazing experience by BiLogin technology.

The Coolpad Max shows up with a metallic uni-body with very thin bezels. It has a fingerprint sensor at the back. The phone features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The Max is backed by a 2800mAh battery with a Quick Charge 3.0. With this fast charging, you can have 3 hours for talking in just 5 minutes. The phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with the company’s CoolUI 8.0 on top.

The Max is powered by a octa-Core Snapdragon 617 processor with Adreno 405 GPU. There is a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage, but you can expand it through a microSD card. For the camera, it sports a 13MP primary camera with  f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and dual-tone LED flash. A 5MP snapper is on the front with f/2.2 aperture

Coolpad Max price

The Coolpad Max launch was in China last year with the price of $350 (at that time). This was the price of 7 months ago. The phone could be quoted at a lower price now. In India, however, it will be priced at $371. With this price, this phone may find it difficult to compete against the other competitors in the same segment. These competitors feature better specs with better prices. Xiaomi Mi 5 ($371), Zenfone 2-64GB ($341), or OnePlus 2 ($312) are some of the examples. The Coolpad Max release date will be on 30th May. It will have 2 colors: Gold and Rose Gold.
