Huawei Note 8 first leaked: 6.6-inch 2K display
After Honor V8, the company is about to bring another smartphone belonging to the V lineup to the market- Huawei Note 8. With the “Note” name, this device owns a massive screen with 6.6 inches.

Recently, Huawei- a popular Chinese smartphone maker- has just released Huawei Honor V8. This is one of the first smartphones in the new V lineup of the company. And again, this device has brought a huge success to this brand. And now, this series is reported to be gonna have another member. And this member will be a “Big” one- Huawei Note 8. It seems like that Huawei is aiming at the big-screen smartphone market.
According to some reports, the new Huawei handset will sport a 6.6-inch display with the resolution of 1440 x 2560 px. With this screen size, this Note even larger than the one from Samsung (Note 7 with 5.8 inches) and the Xiaomi flagship (Mi Max with 6.44 inches). However, it still stands after Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra with 6.8 inches. The Huawei new device is backed with a huge 4400mAh battery supported with fast charging.
The phone is coming with 2 versions. The first variant is powered by Kirin 950 + 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM. The other is Kirin 955 + 4GB RAM + 64GB inbuilt storage. This memory can be expanded up to 128GB. For photography, the company will add an 8MP selfie snapper and a 13MP Sony IMX278 camera to the device. Besides, there will be a USB Type-C port.
Huawei Note 8: price and release date
After Mate 9 and Mate 8, this is the next Huawei smartphone having the tablet size. With all the specs above, the new handset ould probably the next flagship from the brand. Hopefully, Note 8 can follow Honor V8 to bring another success to the V series. About Huawei Note 8 price, the 3GB version will be about $299. The 4GB model will cost you around $343.
