Motorola DROID Turbo 2 leak: 5.4″ 2K screen & Snapdragon 810 to launch on Oct 15
According to recent news, Motorola Droid Turbo 2 will bee launched on October 15, 2015.
If you remember, Motorola introduced 3 products a few weeks ago. They are Moto X Style, Moto X Play and Moto G 2015, belonging to mid-range and high-end series and receiving a lot of support from consumers.
Though, despite the debut of Moto X and Moto G happening not long ago, it seems like the company still wants to continue making people surprised by a new handset. Some reliable sources have recently revealed some pictures and specs of the upcoming Motorola smartphone. And it is known as Motorola DROID Turbo 2.
In terms of design, DROID Turbo 2 looks similar to it predecessor. However, the back surface will be covered by metal material. Meanwhile, the rear camera will also be protected by alloy like the camera of Moto X and Moto G.
As for the Motorola DROID Turbo 2 specs, it has a 5.4-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440) display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chip, 3GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of ROM. Besides, there are a 21 mega-pixel main snapper and a 3,760mAh battery to be on-board. Specially, buyers can order and choose between wooden, leather, plastic, etc. back cover via the Moto Maker system of Motorola. So, with such features, DROID Turbo 2 can become the Motorola flagship this year as well as the strongest device in the Motorola house.
About the DROID Turbo 2 availability, it is said that the phone will only be sold exclusively by Verizon in the United States. Meanwhile, Motorola will release an international version of DROID Turbo 2 with another name known as Moto X Force. Many people assume that the company wants to make Moto X a premium smartphone brand on the market.
If you like this guy, you will have to wait a bit more since the first Motorola DROID Turbo 2 units is going to debut on October 15, 2015, the same launch date of DROID Turbo last year. In addition, Motorola DROID Turbo 2 price will be around $400 (RM1,757). To be honest, that’s quite a hefty price!
How about the (aka international ver of DROID Turbo 2)? Unfortunately, there is no word made for Moto X Force price and availability.
