While Oppo F1s is currently very successful in the market, there have been multiple leaks and reports about another phone from Oppo, also with the “S” in its name: Oppo R9S. Let’s take a look at this Oppo R9’s brother!

Oppo R9S: 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM

Actually, this is not the first time Oppo R9S is leaked on the internet. In August, this phone received TENAA certification and last week, the phone was certified by 3C – The Compulsory Certification of China. However, not until the third leak are we able to see what the phone offers in details. According to the photos alleged to be the promotional posters of this phone, there is something about Oppo R9S specs that we cannot ignore.

First of all, this phone is reported to run Snapdragon 625 chipset at its heart. The photos also show that there will be a 4GB RAM available inside to assist the CPU. In terms of storage, this phone will possibly arrive with 64GB of internal memory and will not support microSD card. Also according to the photos, there will be a 16MP main camera with f/1.7 aperture – which is fast in capturing lights.

Other Oppo R9S specs are also interesting. For selfie purpose, the phone will house a 13MP front-facing snapper. Regarding the display, R9S is hinted to carry a 5.5-inch screen with full HD resolution. As for the battery, this Oppo phone could pack a 3100mAh battery, supported by the Super VOOC wireless charging technology that Oppo introduced in February.

Oppo R9S: Price and availability

As you can see, the promotional posters of this phone have already been made, so it won’t be long until the company launch this product. We expect the Oppo R9S launch date to be within the next two week. As for Oppo R9S price, again, we haven’t received any detail. However, when we compare this phone to the Oppo R9 which has stronger specs and the price tag of $680 (RM. 2800), we suspect that the new phone will cost around $500 (RM. 2010).
