Today we have the Sony news that so many of you waited for long – the Sony Xperia Z5 Smartphone Line. The Xperia Z5 Flagship is the Xperia Z5 Premium with 4K Display. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is officially the first phone to reach the new realm of Smartphone Dreams – 4K Display on a smartphone. On Top Sony brings a really improved camera with the Z5!

Xperia Z5 Premium Display

Lets talk first about the most outstanding feature the Xperia Z5 Premium Display. The Xperia Z5 features a 5.5″ 4K Triluminos Screen with a fantastic 3,840 x 2,160px resolution. That is four times full HD 1080p, or Octa-HD. You can also just say it comes with a 8 Megapixel Display. The Xperia Z5 Screen Pixel Density is with 806ppi, the highest we have seen so far on a display as well.

The next feature that Sony upgraded majorly is the Z5 Camera, the first real update since the Xperia Z1. The new Sony Flagship packs a 23MP Camera with a 1/2.3″ Exmor RS sensor. The Sensor sits after an Sony G Lens with f/2.0 aperture, and other tech from Sony’s high quality α edition of lenses.

The new Camera has of course 4K Video function and improved software like SteadyShot tech and highly improved Intelligent Active Mode. You get an ISO for pics of up too 12,800 and for videos of 3,200. The new upgraded sensor has also an auto-focus of just 0.03s for your action shoots and a 5x digital zoom. The Selfie Cam packs 5MP, also with an Exmor R sensor and you can record 1080p.

Xperia Z5 Premium Specs

The Xperia Z5 Premium is powered by a Snapdragon 810, combined with 3GB of RAM. Also you get 32GB of ROM, that you can extend via Micro-SD to up too 200 GB of RAM for all those 4K videos.

For Audio fans the Xperia Z5 feautues High Res Audio, and with the DSEE HX Sensor, Sony promises to take your normal sound and upscales it to “studio quality experience”. Probably you need to right headset to get that studio quality experience though. Also you get a double pair of speakers on the front, in case you want to share the awesome music quality with your buddies.

Xperia Z5 Premium Design

The Xperia Z5 comes with a stainless steel frame, while the other Z5s are produced by aluminum. You get three Xperia Z5 color options with Black, Gold or Chrome Option and mirror finishing. Of course the new Sony Xperia Z5 is IP65/68 rated, that means water proof and dust tight. On top of this sits a new fingerprint sensor, which will support online payment services. The new Sony phone will come in Dual Sim and Single Sim Version with Cat6 LTE.

The Sony Xperia Z5 Release Date will be in November globally. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium Price in Malaysia and globally will be probably quite hefty. According to the Official Sony Xperia Europe Site the Xperia Z5 Premium will sell at 699 pound, which is approx RM4500, or 1070 USD.  The Sony Xperia Z5 with smaller 5.2″ FHD display will still sell at 649 Pound.  Lets hope that this price will go further down till Launch.
