Ulefone has just announced its newest device: Ulefone Metal. Just like its name, the phone comes with a metallic unibody! Let’s see what this phone offers!

Ulefone Metal: mid-range smartphone with nice configurations!

First up, let’s talk about the performance of Ulefone Metal. This phone sports a processor with 8 cores under the hood. The clock speed hasn’t been mentioned yet. Besides, a good RAM of 3GB and a Meditek MTK6753 chipset are present to assist the CPU. With such combination, the phone for sure will offer a nice performance even while multi-tasking! As for the display, Ulefone Metal houses an average 5-inch HD display, supported by a MALI T720 GPU.

Regarding the cameras, Ulefone Metal comes with an 8MP main snapper and a 2MP selfie shooter. You may think such resolutions cannot compete with current smartphone cameras which support 13 megapixels and above. However, you can think again! The company has adopted Sony IMX149 8MP CMOS to this snapper. This technology will ensure better single-pixel quality! The pre-installed camera application also allows users to manually adjust the ISO, the exposure and white balance! 

Other Ulefone Metal specs are also worth noticing! The phone is fueled by a 3050mAh battery, which can keep the phone running for a whole day. There is also 16GB of ROM for users to store their personal files. Besides, this Android 6.0 Ulefone packs a fingerprint scanner on its back. This scanner is able to recognize 5 different fingerprints. Another highlight of this phone is that it allows users to open app from the lock-screen by drawing letters! Moreover, 4G LTE is also supported in this phone.

Ulefone Metal is available in 3 color options: black, grey and silver. The black and grey versions will both come with black front side while the silver version will arrive with white front side. There hasn’t been any further detail about Ulefone Metal price and release date yet. But the phone is said to aim at the mid-range market segment and may make a debut within one month only.
