UMi isn’t a well-known brand in most markets, thus the company has released a number of affordable devices this year in hopes of gaining traction. As 2016 comes to an end, UMi introduces its most advanced handset, the UMi Z.

In terms of UMi Z specs, it is powered with a 5.5-inch 2.5D Arc screen with the full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080px, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM, supports a microSD for expansion. As cameras, UMi Z sports a 13MP rear camera with 4K recording and a 5MP front-facing camera which is enough for people who love to selfie. Moreover, this budget handset has a hefty 3780mAh battery in 8.2mm slim design so that the mobile outlook can be a more elegant. UMi Z runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Those specs above is pretty impressive. But what really attracts user’s attention is its Mediatek Helio X27 inside. UMi Z become the first globally available handset to offer up a Mediatek Helio X27 processor. This latest high-end SOC from Mediatek is incredibly powerful. It uses a tri-Cluster CPU architecture.  The CPU can activate the most powerful cores only when necessary, while using the more energy-saving ones for simpler tasks.

Besides those amazing features, UMi Z is also equiped some high-end specs such as a fingerprint reader, an aerospace class aluminum body, quick-charging technology, dual SIM slots, USB Type-C and more. UMi not only gives its devices good specs but also pairs it with minimalist software that is as pure as Android gets. This means less bloat to slow you down.

In spite of those outstanding features listed above, UMi Z is not a high-cost handset. UMi Z price is only around $199.
