4 reasons why you should keep your current Apple iPhone
Apple iPhone 7 has just been launched yesterday with many new and upgraded features. However, before you drop your current iPhone and buy this new one, consider the aspects below!
Apple iPhone 7: The new features are actually not new
First of all, iPhone 7 is not the only phone to be compatible with wireless headphones. The new AirPods are wonderful, but there are other alternatives in the market. So if you desperately want to try the new technology, let us remind you that wireless headphones are already available in the market, and many of them are compatible with previous generations of iPhone.
Secondly, the new brightness technology in Apple iPhone 7/7 Plus is a bit too much. Previous iPhone models have already satisfied us with their brightness technology. Their screens are bright, even when displayed in intense sunlight. Pushing the brightness 25% more may be a bit unnecessary, not to mention that it can consume much more battery.
Thirdly, the bokeh effects and depth-of-field camera technology is not exclusive in Apple iPhone 7 Plus. There are many apps in the Apple Appstore that offer the same function. You can try Bokeh Lens for example. This 99-cent app allows users to create blurry background. With this app, your current iPhone can already produce the same photos as Apple iPhone 7 does.
iOs is not exclusive in Apple iPhone 7
Last but not least, you don’t need an Apple iPhone 7 to try iOS 10. iOS 10 is the latest operating system from Apple. iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will run this system out of the box when they are released. However, they are not the only iPhone models to support the new OS. On September 13th, iPhone 5 and later generation iPhones will receive this update as well. So it’s not really convincing if you buy the new iPhone just because of the new OS. Now have you got better understanding about whether you should keep your current iPhone or buy the next one?
