According to sources from South Korea, all 2019 iPhones are going to arrive with the OLED screen. Previously, Apple had an ongoing partnership with LCD supplier Japan Display (JDI). However, the partnership might end soon.

For now, LG Display and Samsung Display are currently the biggest OLED manufacturers. With Apple iPhones 2019 featuring the OLED screen, future mid-range handsets can also take up on this trend. Thus, the action help boosting the average retail price. Moreover, other source stated that by switching to OLED, Apple can now have diversification of sources for the component.
