Gionee Elife S5.5 was the first phone brought the idea of a slim and light smartphone to the market. And now its sibling – the Gionee Elife S5.1 follow this step and even bold it. With a thickness of 5.15 mm, the S5.1 used to hold the thinnest smartphone title in the Guinness book of World record until Oppo R5 and Vivo Max5 passed it. The S5.1 comes with a 4.8 inch AMOLED display and Android 4.4 KitKat OS. An octa-core Mediatek MT6592 will be in charge of the processor. Its cameras are 8MP for the main one and 5MP for the selfie. The handset packs a 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory. It is backed with a 2100 mAh battery. The Gionee Elife S5.1 price comes in $422.
