Asus Zenfone Pegasus 3 launched in China: 3GB RAM, 4,100 mAH battery
Not long after the big release of Zenfone 3 and its siblings, Asus has just announced another product: Asus Zenfone Pegasus 3. Let’s see if this device can be Zenfone 3’s successor or not!
Asus Zenfone Pegasus 3: Threatening the budget phone market
The design of this brand new smartphone resembles Asus Zenfone 3. However, there’s a big difference between Asus Zenfone Pegasus 3 specs and Zenfone 3 specs. This new product aims at the budget smartphone market segment, hence it doesn’t feature such incredible specs like Zenfone 3 and the siblings. Regardless, this phone still comes with impressive configurations, compared to other budget rivals.
As for Asus Zenfone Pegasus 3 specs, there is an octa-core 1.3GHz and a MediaTek MT6753 chipset to take care of the performance. Regarding the memory, this Asus phone comes in two variants, one with 2GB RAM/ 16GB ROM, the other with 3GB RAM/ 32GB ROM. Besides, Zenfone Pegasus 3 features a 5.2-inch full HD display, which is covered with Gorilla Glass 2.5D to keep the screen from cracking and scratching.
For photography, we have a 13MP primary camera on the back and a 5MP selfie snapper on the front, both clocked at 2.0 F aperture. This Android 6.0 device supports dual-SIM and microSD card. The phone also features fingerprint scanner on the back. Another highlight of Asus Zenfone Pegasus 3 is its 4100mAh battery, which offers enormous time use. This Asus handset is available in 4 color options: gold, silver, grey and rose gold.

There hasn’t been any official announcement about Asus Zenfone Pegasus 3 release date. However, there are hints that this phone will “attack” the market in August and China will be the first country to welcome this budget smartphone. As for Asus Zenfone Pegasus 3 price, you need to pay only $200 for the 2GB RAM/16GB ROM version and $230 for the 3GB RAM/32GB ROM version.
