Close-up: BlackBerry Venice slider with Android 6.0 and a November launch
Do you still remember the flagship “slider” that Blackberry introduced in MWC this year? It is named as Blackberry Venice and said to sport a curved Quad HD display. Recently, we have just got more new updates from @evleaks. Accordingly, this BlackBerry’s slider is ready to hit the shelves in November, 2015.
BlackBerry Venice is expected to feature a large touchscreen that can slide up to reveal an iconic physical keyboard from BlackBerry. On the other hand, it is also said that the Venice will own curved edges like Samsung Galaxy S6 edge.
Spec-wise, some leaks revealed that BlackBerry Venice would be the very first device in the BlackBerry house to run on Android OS and we hope that it will be Android Marshmallow, the newest ver from Google. Besides that, BlackBerry Venice specs are likely to include a 5.4-inch QHD display, a Snapdragon 808 processor paired with 3GB RAM.
Looking at the leaked pictures of BB Venice, we notice that the SIM and microSD card slot are placed on the top of the phone. Other than that, there are no more words made for other specs of this unique machine such as camera, battery, storage, etc.
As we mentioned above, @evleaks said that November would see the BlackBerry Venice launch. Though, it has not been confirmed by the company yet. As for the glossy BlackBerry Venice price and availability, we will update the information as soon as possible.
Now, let’s have a look at the beautiful BlackBerry Venice before it is launched in November (or maybe even sooner), and tell us what do you think about it 😉 !
