Galaxy Note 5 : Exynos 7422, 4GB of RAM – the most outstanding and unique specs ever!
The new leaked image of Golden Galaxy Note 5 gave us an specific idea of how the phablet will look like. Recently, there’s been a lot of speculation regarding the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 flagship and its hardware in particular. A set of benchmark results also confirm some rumours about the Note 5’s power.
According to a screenshot of an anonymous tipster, we have received info of this tablet that CPU-Z will run on a Note 5.
Interm of the international version with the model number SM-N920F. As has been rumored before, this iteration of the next Galaxy Note will indeed come sporting Samsung’s own Exynos 7422 chipset. This chipset is the improvement of Exynos 7420 running inside the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge. Exynos 7422 will be the company’s first ever all-in-one chip with the CPU, GPU, RAM, storage and modem all together on the same slate under the hood.
Moreover, it should be the first Samsung-made silicon to feature the modem on the same chip as the CPU and GPU.
It’s confirmed that the Note 5 will have 4GB RAM. It’s also going to have 32GB of internal storage in this version, though it is not sure whethere or not the microSD card slot will be supported.
The phablet screen seems to be kept identical to the Galaxy brand’s phablet. The Note 5 will have the 5.7-inch QHD panel and receive the upgraded tech for sure.
The device tested is also running Android Lollipop 5.1.1, which hints at the operating system the Galaxy Note 5 will probably ship with.
There were some live images of a purported Galaxy Note 5 showed that it won’t get an auto-eject mechanism for the S Pen stylus. About the handset announcement, we haven’t had the exact releasing date, though it is expected to be announced in the mid-August.
