Huawei Honor V9: Big Brother of Honor 8
The Chinese manufacturer Honor just unveiled its Honor V9 to the public in his home country. According to rumors, the smartphone will also be launched internationally at Mobile World Congress 2017, but under the name of Honor 8 Pro. Basically, the new Huawei phone is optically and technically the big brother of the Honor 8: The devices look quite similar, whereby the V9 is coming completely with aluminum chassis.
As for specs, it features a 5.7-inch 2K QHD display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. Its dimensions are 157 x 77.5 x 6.97 mm, and it weighs 184g. At heart, the Huawei Honor V9 sports an Octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 960 chipset runs Android 7.0 Nougat underneath Huawei’s EMUI 5.0. and an enormous 4000mAh battery is keeping the lights on. In terms of memory, the Honor V9 is available in two versions: 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM or 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM, both variants can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card.
Moreover, the Huawei Honor V9 also has the dual camera known from the Honor 8. There are 2 12MP megapixel Sony sensors on the back, each with an F/2.2 aperture. One sensor shoots photos in color, the other is a monochrome sensor. A great combi, which should provide more contrast and sharpness. In addition, the combination of laser focus, dual camera and the powerful processor can also create photos with a 3D effect and film 4K videos. On the front, there is a 8MP snapper for nice selfies.

This handset is a big flagship with excellent specs at an affordable price. The 64GB of RoM version will be released first in gorgeous gold and blue and is priced at 2,999 Yuan ($435 or €413).
