After the success of the Huawei Mate X series, the Chinese manufacturer goes on to research and develop the next product for their new Mate series. Notably, the successor of the Mate 30 series is going to come with an impressive camera system and a large battery capacity. Furthermore, it also comes with a watered-down version with a much better price tag dubbed Mate 40 Lite. Let see what the new handset to offer!

In terms of the display, the Huawei phone can feature a 6.9-inch P-OLED with a resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels. In addition, it has a tall 19:9 ratio aspect and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 6. Moving on to the optics department, the Huawei Mate 40 Lite camera rocks penta-lenses setup on the back. In detail, it consists of a 108MP primary sensor + 48MP wide lens + 12MP telephoto snaps + 20MP ultrawide lens + 5MP depth sensor.

At the front-facing, this device carries a single 32MP shooter for taking selfies and video calling. Regarding the memory system, the Huawei handset ships with 8GB of RAM and packs different variants: 128GB/ 256GB of onboard storage. It can be expandable up to 512GB via MicroSD card. On the other side, the Mate 40 Lite phone is coming to work on Android 11 on the operating system. In hardware-wise, the Huawei beast takes power from the  Hisilicon Kirin 1000 chipset.
