When the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus were launched firstly a lot of people, especially from the Anroid Fanbase making fun of Apple. The biggest argument against the new iPhone 6 Devices was that they are outdated and feature hardware and specs that we see on Android phones since 2 years already.

The new iPhones sport “only” dual core processor and 1GB of RAM while the newest Android Smartphones easily sport 3GB of RAM and quad or even Eight Core processors. How do the new iPhones perform in direct comparison with Android Flagships though? We have a Video for that.

PhoneBuff took the iPHone 6, HTC One (M8) and Galaxy S5 and compared them side by side for a speed test in real world conditions. All three phones are rebooted to make them as fresh and equal as possible and all three are connected to the same WIFI Network.

Following all three phones, the iPHone 6, HTC One M8 and Galaxy S5 need to pass through a virtual obstacle courseā€ to see which smartphone is finishing the first. On all three phones the same apps are opened, and wait till the phone loads them fully, before closing them and opening up the next app. In the each obstacle rounds is done twice, to test initial loading and then multitasking performance of the phones. All the tests are measured by a timer to track how fast the phones can load the apps. What is the result though?
