The Chinese Android market saw some interesting new devices released in the last few weeks. If you missed any of them or are just looking for a new phone, here are the latest Chinese phones in descending RAM order.
1. Huawei Honor 8 Pro
Announced in February and expected to be on sale in March, Huawei Honor 8 Pro is the latest Chinese phones right now. In terms of Huawei Honor 8 Pro specs, it features a 5.7″ 2K display, along with a Kirin 960 octa-core (4 x 2.4GHz + 4 x 1.8GHz) under the hood. The phone comes in 2 variants: one with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM, the other with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM (both are expandable up to 256GB).
The device is mounted with dual 12MP f/2.2 back cameras and an 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera. Huawei Honor 8 Pro is powered by a 4000mAh battery. Huawei Honor 8 Pro price is expected to come at $450 ~RM. 1999, available in Gold and Blue color.
2. Elephone Z1
Announced back in October, Elephone Z1 is now officially on sale. The phone specs boast a 5.5″ FHD display, with a Helio X30 2.3GHz octa-core, 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM (expandable up to 128GB via a dedicated slot). Elephone Z1 cameras sport a 22.56 f/2.0MP main snapper on the back and an 8MP snapper on the front. The phone is powered by a non-removable 4070mAh battery. 3. Meitu T8
The latest Chinese phones of this month joined by the camera expert Meitu T8. In terms of Meitu T8 specs, it features a 5.2″ FHD display, with a Helio X20 deca-core under the hood. The phone offers 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage (non-expandable). As for Meitu T8 cameras, the phone is mounted with a 21MP f/2.2 main camera on the back, while the front boasts an amazing dual 12MP f/1.8 selfie shooters. Meitu T8 is powered by a non-removable 3580mAh battery and available at $480 ~ RM. 2135.
4. Huawei P10
The highly anticipated Huawei P10 is also one of the latest Chinese phones to release this month. In terms of Huawei P10 cameras, the device sports dual 20MP + 12MP f/2.2 rear cameras, while the front snapper is 8MP f/1.9. In terms of Vivo Y55s specs, the phone comes with a 5.2″ HD display, a Snapdragon 425 1.2GHz quad-core, 3GB RAM and 16GB ROM (expandable up to 256GB using a dedicated slot). Vivo Y55s cameras boast a 13MP snapper on the back while the front has a 5MP camera. The phone derives its power from a non-removable 2730mAh battery. Available in 2 colors including Crown Gold and Space Gray, Vivo Y55s price tag is around $190 ~ RM. 840.
