Meizu M5s Will Be Unveiled Next Week

Attention Meizu fans: The Chinese handset maker has started sending out invitations for an event that is scheduled for February 15. Although the invitation doesn’t point out the name of the phone, the company is likely to present the Meizu M5s. As can already be seen from the invitation image, the upcoming Meizu smartphone will obviously supported by fast-charging.
According to rumors, the Meizu M5s will come with a 5.2-inch HD display with a resolution af 1280 x 720 pixels. Under the hood, according to TENAA, the device is going to be powered by an octa-core 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6753 SoC mobile processor and will be working on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. As for memory, there are 3 different variants available: 2GB/16GB, 3GB/32GB, and 4GB/64GB which can be expanded up to 256GB of ROM via microSD card.
In terms of cameras, the phone is expected to sport a 13-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.2 aperture, phase detection autofocus, dual-LED flash and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies with a f/2.0 aperture. Moreover, the Meizu M5s will pack a 2930mAh non-removable battery cell which will be equipped with Meizu mCharge technology. Other features include dual SIM, 4G LTE, and a fingerprint scanner.

At a price of just RMB 999 ($145) the upcoming Meizu M5s is a very nice low budget smartphone with great specs. It will be available in the color options include silver grey, gold and rose gold. Let’s wait and see, if the company will unveil its M5s next week.
