Motorola Moto Z3 and Z3 Play: great design and features.

Previously, we have seen the leaked image of the Motorola X5 and three G6 handsets. Today, we have more information of the Z2’s successors: Moto Z3 and Z3 Play. Firstly, both Motorola smartphones come with a new design, different from the old Moto Z2 Play. In details, they will feature a bezel-less display with thin bezels. Moreover, the screen of Moto Z3 duo has slightly curved edges, similar to Samsung’s famous Galaxy series.

Regarding the display, Motorola Moto Z3 specs sport a 6-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen (1080 x 2220 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratios). Also, Motorola Moto Z3 Play specs also offer the same screen. Under the hood, both Moto Z3 and Z3 Play are going to run on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset. In terms of the storage, the Moto Z3 and Z3 Play offer 3GB/4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. There is also expandable storage of 256GB.

How about the photography? Out of the two, the Motorola Moto Z3 camera includes a 12MP (f/1.7, 1.4 µm) rear snapper and a 5MP (f/2.2, 1.4 µm) selfie snapper. On the other hand, the Moto Z3 Play camera provides a 12MP (f/1.7, 1.4 µm) rear snapper and an 8MP (f/2.2, 1.4 µm) selfie snapper. Regarding the juice box, both Motorola handsets are coming with a non-removable Li-Ion 3000mAh battery. Furthermore, the Moto Z3 and Z3 Play could sport the fingerprint sensors embedded into the rear Moto logo, just below the primary camera. Lastly, both handsets run on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo.

Since the Z2 debuted in summer 2017, the Motorola Moto Z3 release date can fall around June or July 2017, same for the Z3 Play. As for the cost, the Motorola Moto Z3 price starts at $530 ~ RM. 2065.
