New Apple smartphone officially coming with Wireless Charging and Waterproof design!
The iPhone 8 is certainly one of, if not the most anticipated devices of the year. It is because 2017 is the 10-year anniversary of the first iPhone. There are a lot of expectations for this new Apple smartphone. Words have come around previously that the iPhone 8 would have wireless charging, a feature many Android phones already have. Now, it seems that piece of information would be official, with new confirmation from Apple’s supplier!
Robert Hwang, the CEO of Wistron, an Indian assembler for Apple, has recently shared that the new Apple smartphone would have a waterproof design, along with wireless charging. The statement happened during the company’s annual shareholders’ meeting recently. Many experts believe that Wistron is splitting orders of iPhone with other manufacturers, and the company is in charge of the new iPhone 8. The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus are already rated IP67 for water resistant. However, the iPhone 8 seems to upgrade that feature to IP68.
We expect Apple to launch three new iPhone models this year. They are the iPhone 7s and 7s Plus, which are the slight upgrade of the previous version, and the new premium device iPhone 8. iPhone 8 is the new Apple smartphone that people are anticipating the most. It is no surprise that iPhone 8 specs would be top of the line as well, with the new Apple A11 chipset, 3GB RAM, 3000mAh battery, 5.7″ display, etc. It might still retain the top phone on AnTuTu for performance, succeeding iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.
