OnePlus 8 Lite specs

According to the official announcement, the OnePlus brand is planning to launch a new variant of the OnePlus 8 trio that could be called the OnePlus 8 Lite. In details, talking about the display, the 8 Lite phone can feature a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. On the other side, it also boasts the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. 

Concerning the storage, the OnePlus handset can pack up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB/ 256GB of onboard storage. However, there is no expandable via MicroSD card. On the contrary, speaking of the processor, it should take power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. Besides, on the software front, this OnePlus handset comes working on Android 10.0 as the operating system.

How about the optics department? The OnePlus 8 Lite camera comprises a triple-camera setup on the rear. It includes a 48MP primary lens (f/1.8), a 16MP telephoto sensor (f/2.2), and a 12MP ultra-wide lens (f/2.4) with an LED flash. Meanwhile, on the front, there is a single 16MP lens with an aperture of f/2.0 for taking selfies and video calling. Speaking of the capacity, the OnePlus device draws a non-removable 4000mAh juice box that supports 30W quick charging technology. Additionally, this phone is likely to have a fingerprint scanner on the front below the screen. 

Release date and price

As we learned, there is no official information on the OnePlus smartphone date and the price of the 8 Lite. We expect this phone can hit the market in the first quarter of this year.
