Like they promised last Week, One Plus just brought a new Software Update, to update the user experience to the OnePlus One (CyanogenMod 11S release, 05Q)

This is not yet the long awaited update to Android Lollipop yet, but it brings you very close to the Android 5.0 experience. Besides fixing bugs and certain enhancements you also get full Swiftkey Integration, thanks to a new formed partnership between OnePlus and Swiftkey. Of course you can still choose to go with any other custom keyboard, but Swiftkey is pretty convenient and prebuilt encourages more users to take advantage of this experience

 Moreover you get improvements for the camera experience, especially for Video Features. With the new Auto-Focus feature, now you can focus before the recording actually starts. With Continous focus you can refocus during the recording of the video. With the Infinity focus feature, the background gets as clear visible as the Focus object, without any need to change your focus.

Also you get one really important feature for audiphiles with this update, AudioMaxx technology by Waves. MaxxAudio decribe themselves as “psychoacoustic sound enhancement technologies” , which basically means they are an software to improve the audio experience on your phone. If you know a bit about smartphones, you know what a big difference good audio software can make

.

The AudioMaxx is integrated into the new AudioFX from Cyanogen and we are eager to test it. In conclusion this is a pretty good update, also not Lollipop yet.
