Samsung Galaxy A8 specs are revealed:
The Samsung Galaxy A8 is drawing more attention from phone consumers these days. What we got now is the information saying that A8 will own a 5.7-inch screen with a metal body. Besides, we are kind of impressed by its thickness of only 5.9 mm, which can make the A8 the slimmest Samsung smartphone up to now.
Other than that, Samsung Galaxy A8 specs probably feature a 16MP rear camera. However, that could cause some problems since the 16MP Sony IMX240 and the Samsung ISOCELL sensors used to be built in Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge are not thin enough to fit in a small space.
So what solution has Samsung come up with? Many sources claim that Samsung Galaxy A8 will use a slightly downgraded ISOCELL sensor, the new module LSI3P3. It is reduced in pixel size, which enables the sensor to become thinner and fit the Galaxy A8. So, good thing is that A8 will be equipped with ISOCELL sensor, but note that this will have a bad effect on the camera quality. Nevertheless, that’s theory. We cannot tell exactly how Samsung will deal with this issue.
To recap, we hope that Samsung will release more new info about this 5.7″ phablet and perhaps even the Samsung Galaxy A8 launch date and price.
