In fact, this duo has been leaked and rumored for quite a long time. But it is at the end of March that the company officially introduces the devices. We can see they have been improved a lot in both appearances and specifications, prettier and stronger. Speaking more specifically, not long ago the J5 and J7 (2016 versions) were announced on Samsung’s website in China with details.
Talking about Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) specs, it sports a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD resolution, an octa-core 1.6GHz processor (said to be Exynos 7870), 3 GB of RAM paired with 16 GB of internal storage, LTE connectivity and NFC capabilities. As for camera, the main one is capable of 13 megapixels while the front snapper is 5 megapixels. Under the hood, a decent 3,300 mAh (even bigger than Samsung Galaxy S7’s cell) is in charge of fueling the whole machine.
In terms of Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) specs, it boasts a 5.2-inch HD Super AMOLED display, a quad-core 1.2GHz chip (said to be Snapdragon 410), 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of ROM, and a 3,100 mAh batt. So, those are some important differences between J5 (2016) and J7 (2016) you need to know. For the rest, the Galaxy J5 packs the same features as the Galaxy J7.
