The Korean brand announced the main star of their upcoming August 5 US event – the Galaxy Z Flip 5G. We’ve known for weeks that this new foldable model should inherit most of the hardware from the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. However, the chipset of the device is a bit new, as it is going to support the 5G network. Furthermore, the new device also arrived with two new colors – Mysterious Bronze and Mysterious Gray. In detail, the Samsung flagship uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC.
Under the hood, the Samsung handset arrives with an 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage (no card slot). As for the operating system, the Samsung device boots Android 10 -based One UI 2. Coming to the display of this handset, the Samsung phone specs offer a 6.7 inches Foldable Dynamic AMOLED with a resolution of 1080 x 2636 pixels. Meanwhile, the cover display flaunts 1.1-inch Super AMOLED, 112 x 300 pixels.
