Today, Sony Mobile has launched its current flagship smartphone in India — Sony Xperia XZ2. Previously, the device first debuted at the Mobile World Congress in Spain earlier this year along with Xperia XZ2 Compact. In details, Sony Xperia XZ2 official specs feature a 5.7-inch Full HD+ HDR display with a resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels. Moreover, it features TRILUMINOS and X-Reality, making it one of the best display on a flagship smartphone.

Also, the display is protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass 5 on top. Under the hood, the device takes power from a Qualcomm‘s Snapdragon 845 processor along with Adreno 630 GPU. It packs 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot support that enables users to expand the phone’s storage capacity up to 400GB. As for the Sony Xperia XZ2 camera, there’s a 19MP rear camera with 4K video recording support and 960fps slow-motion video support.

On the front side, there’s a 5MP snapper with a wide-angle lens. The device comes with IP65/IP68 certification, ensuring water and dust resistance. On top of that, the Sony handset runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. Besides, the Sony phone has a 3,180mAh battery that also supports Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging technology. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ GLONASS, NFC, and USB 3.1 port. It also has stereo speakers with S-Force Front Surround, DSEE HX, and LDAC.

Sony Xperia XZ2 will be available for purchase from 1st August through Sony Centre and select mobile stores across the nation. Besides, the Xperia XZ2 price begins at Rm. 4,314 (approximately $1,062) in Liquid Black colour option only.
