Huawei joined the boycott of Russia
Huawei adds its name to the mass IT companies’ boycott of Russia. Find out what happened below!
Huawei joined the boycott of Russia
So far, many IT enterprises have announced their office closure in the Russian market. Previously, Huawei has halved its mobile supplies to the country, citing the current situation might affect the total sale and its business. However, things took another turn when the Chinese firm announced its plan to close the Russian office entirely. They have stopped any orders through websites and offline channels.
Moreover, the corporate office dealing with telecommunications and networking equipment is getting cleared out soon. Regarding the employees, all Chinese ones and a part of the local specialists team will leave the country. Meanwhile, the rest will be on vacation status. There is also talk about stopping their contract with all Russian telecom operators. Huawei signed the deal for their supplies of network and server equipment.
In Russia, many telecom operators have chosen Huawei’s solutions for their service. The Chinese giant now accounts for 33% of Russian cellular base stations, covering the entire country. As a result, the new decision can bring a negative impact on Russia. We expect the development and maintenance of current projects like 5G will slow down. To avoid more significant effects from the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, Huawei needs to be smart about its next move. There is a high chance they can arrange for new supply through third countries. Moreover, they need to create workarounds to use American tech in order to bypass the sanctions.
History
If you remembered, Huawei has run into problems with the United States before. They now allowed the company to receive equipment from international companies with licenses. However, this can stop soon due to the war. Another route we can see is Russian telecom operators switching to other companies like Ericsson. On the other hand, the consumer goods market for tech devices remains unchanged.

Huawei Mate 10 Lite review: 16MP quad-cam, 3340 mAH for only…>
We offer you the Huawei Mate 10 Lite review today since the mini version is still very powerful with quad cameras and 18:9 screen ratio. Keep on reading to learn more!
Huawei Mate 10 Lite review
As far as it concerns, the Mate 10 Lite is the latest member of the Mate 10 family. In details, the device has an 18:9 touchscreen with 1,080×2,160 resolution, which is excellent for such given price tag. Besides, the screen can be seen well in bright sunlight, and the automatic brightness is adequate for the most part. Whereas, the lowest intensity seems too high when using the phone in darkness, which we may need to use Eye Comfort function.
Further, the fingerprint scanner is in a perfect position. However, the only problem with the Mate 10 Lite’s design is a bit top heavy. Under the hood, the device can give 90% of the perceived speed and ‘smoothness’ of a Huawei P10. Due to the hardware boost, the camera app loaded in under two seconds, in the total of 12 seconds to open and capture a shot. Whereas, there are some 2-4 second freezes when the device stopped responding users’ touches.
The most regrettable thing is that the chipset comes at 659 version instead of 660 for mid-range devices. However, the energy box is fair enough with 3340mAh capacity. The battery performs well in standby mode but drops fast when using 4G, Bluetooth, and navigation features. Regarding optics department, there are only three options including 4:3 aspect ratio (16MP/8MP) with huge black bar. Further, there would be 18:9 (11MP/5MP) and a square 12MP format available. Check out Huawei Mate 10 Lite specs here.
Conclusion: Huawei Mate 10 Lite review
There are many things right and not good enough as the Mate 10 Lite to launch. Some of the positive including its Phone Clone system to transfer data without cables required. Besides, there exists a “Power-intensive app found” to save battery life with a fast and accurate fingerprint reader. Moreover, Wifi hotspot and Wifi+ (automatically on/off when connecting to nearby known networks) are very helpful as well. On the other hand, the clock speed of chipset somehow disappoints us with 2.4GHz, instead of 5GHz. Further, the lack of Google’s Smart Lock on Mate 10 Lite is also what matters. Do you have any ideas for this device? Drop a comment below and stay tuned for more updates!
