1. Zen Sonic 1

The first one come to “2GB RAM phones” list is Zen Sonic 1. Let me say it again, it’s Zen Sonic 1. So, don’t get confused it with Zenfone from Asus. Zen is the OEM while Zenfone is the flagship brand of Taiwanese company. Zen is always famous for its not only affordable but also quality low-end feature products. And Sonic 1 is one of them. Coming with $94, the phone is definitely the most affordable 2GB RAM smartphone in this list.

Besides, the phone also has USB Type-C data port and a wireless charging.

The phone will come in 4 ROM versions with 32/64/128GB. Hopefully, Honor 8 can follow V8’s success step. The exact launch/release date of  V8, as well as its price for fourth versions is unveiled. According to a new source, this news will be officially confirmed on 25th June by the Honor or the company- Huawei.

Huawei Honor 8: release date and price

The phone will be presented on 5th July. Huawei Honor 8 release date will be on available on the market on 12th of the same month-July. There will be 4 prices for 4 variants. Huawei Honor 8 price will be about $304 for the 32GB model + no NFC chip. Same 32GB ROM but with NFC chip, the price will be $334. $380 is the price you have to pay for the 64GB phone. Last but not least, the high-end version. This one will come with a Quad HD and 128GB ROM, and it costs around $425.

Early2016, Huawei has upgraded Honor 4X to 5X .  Now, as recent reports, the company is preparing for new smartphone named Huawei Honor 5C. This phone is reported to be an upgraded version of Huawei Honor 4C, which is one of the most attractive phones from last year. Honor 5C comes in two versions of internet connecting capabilities: 3G and 4G. Through Honor 5C, Huawei is preparing for the battle in mid-term segment with other rivals.

Huawei Honor 5C uses a 5.2″ FullHD, which is the changing compared with the 720p screen of 4C phone. Under the hood, the phone is powered by 4-core Cortex A53 2GHz and 4-core A53 1.7GHz, along with Kirin 650 chipset. This is the first time the company uses Kirin chipset for its lower device. Honor 5C also sports 2GB of RAM paired with 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded to 64GB via microSD. Huawei Honor 5C supports dual-sim and Android 6.0. The battery reaches 3000mAh capacity.

As for a camera, Huawei Honor 5C boasts a 13MP on the rear, equipped with LED flash. On the front, there is an 8MP front shooter that can satisfy any selfie lover. Xiaomi smartphone: always in the top 3

JD.com- Jingdong Mall- is a Chinese electronic commerce company. It is one of the largest online retailers in China. There was a grand sale offering a great smartphone discounts on this website from 1st to 18th June. In this 18-day period, Apple was at the top in the total product sales category. Coming after that at the 2nd place is Huawei – Honor, Xiaomi kept the 3rd spot. The other ranks belong to Lenovo, Samsung, Meizu, HP, Canon, Dell and LeEco respectively.

That’s the total result. How about the detailed data? In the category of total sales number, Xiaomi defeated every rival and took the crown. Its biggest competitor-Huawei- is the runner-up. Apple came right after that, and then Meizu, LeEco and Samsung. In the total sales value aspect, Apple, of course, is the champion. Huawei+ Honor once again owned the 2nd spot, after that is Xiaomi. It’s quite surprised that 360 Mobiles brand had the places in these two charts.

In terms of the best-selling smartphone in this period, Meizu M3 Note was the champion. This is such a great achievement for the company. The 2nd place went to iPhone 6S. Redmi Note 3 came to the next place, follow it is Redmi 3. The smartphones came after were Le 2, Redmi 3S, Xiaomi Mi5, iPhone 5S, Mi Max and Honor V8 respectively.

Best selling smartphones: Chinese phones rule the list

Not only in domestic market, Chinese smartphone companies also rule in the international markets like India. Huawei – one of the biggest brand in China- is a typical example. However, it just the 3rd largest smartphone, because the top two positions belong to Samsung and Apple. These companies lead the charge of the best selling smartphones in Q1 2016.

And recently, IC Insights- an industry tracker- has just given the report of best worldwide smartphone sales leaders in Q1 2016. And it’s not a surprise when 8 out of the 12 companies are Chinese brands. Those companies take the 3rd place to 6th position and from 8th position to 11th place. The 7th and 12sc places belong to LG (Korea) and Micromax (India). The final position in this top 12 could have gone to another Chinese manufacturer – Gionee. This company shipped 4.8 million smartphones in the 1st quarter this year, just missing 200.000 units compared to India brands – Micromax.

Next, the 4th place goes to Oppo while Xiaomi and Vivo take the 5th and 6th spot. Finally, ZTE, Lenovo, TCL, Meizu are standing in the 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th position respectively. Lenovo seems like to lose its spot when its growth rate decreased 26%. In the contrast, Oppo raises to the 4th place with the growth rate increasing up to 54%. Compared to the top 12 last year, Sony, Coolpad, and Microsoft are out of the list of top 12 best selling smartphones. As they only sold 3.4 million, 4 million and 2.3 million smartphones in the Q1 of 2016.

LeEco: a potential nominee next year

Chinese smartphone companies are gradually taking the other brands down. Earlier this month, Huawei announced Honor V8 smartphone with 12MP dual-camera. 2016 seems to be a year of dual camera smartphones with many new devices having this feature. Our sources are suggesting that Huawei Honor 8 sports a 5.2 inch display and dual 12MP shooters. Comparing to its big brother Honor V8, the Honor 8 has a smaller display (5.2 inch VS 5.7 inch) and same camera modules. There will be 2 variants of the Honor 8 will be available: 8 FRD-TL10 and FRD-AL00.

Some of Huawei Honor 8 specs we know for now include:  Kirin 950 or Kirin 955 SoC made by the company, paired with powerful 4GB of RAM. There will be a 3000 mAh battery that offers wireless charging. You can also find USB Type-C port and IR plaster accompanied. The Honor-branded device is said to be covered by 2.5 curved glasses on both the front and the back. Under the hood, we have Emotion UI 4.1 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, a Kirin 650 (quad-core 2.0GHz + quad-core 1.7GHz) processor, 16GB ROM (expandable up to 128GB) paired with 2GB RAM, and a 3,000mAh battery on board to help power the entire device. As for Huawei Honor 5c price, you need to note that its 3G variant costs 899 Yuan (around $139) while the 4G one costs 100 Yuan more, which is 999 Yuan ($153).

New Nexus 6P price and Release day.

The new Nexus 6P price is expected to cost around $550-600. That is not cheap price but it is a reasonable price for all specs above. Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro vs Xiaomi Mi5 Pro vs Huawei P9 Max: Awesome 4GB RAM Flagship War

Looking at the table, we can notice the phones’ similarities easily. For example, all of them have the same powerful 4GB RAM, the latest Android Marshmallow OS, fantastic camera combos, dual SIMs, and fingerprint scanners. Though, there are also many important differences we need to note. First of all, it is display. Both Huawei P9 Max and Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro are big phablets with around 6.0-inch screens. But if you prefer something handier, Xiaomi Mi5 Pro is the perfect choice. In terms of resolution, P9 Max is definitely the winner thanks to sporting 2K res.

As for processor, we think Snapdragon 652, Snapdragon 820 and Kirin 950 are all strong to perform any task you want, yet the SD820 can slightly have advantages. About ROM capacity, the Mi5 Pro is the champion once again, up to 128GB of internal storage. However, it does not support a microSD card slot to expand the memory. Anyway, we guess 128GB is already much enough for everything. Do you agree?

In the final paragraph, we would like to talk about battery and camera. No doubt the A9 Pro is the best here because of its massive 5,000mAh cell. You can use the phone in more than 3 days. So cool, rite?! And for main camera, both A9 Pro and Mi5 Pro own 16MP shooters which are great, yet we think the P9 Max’s dual 12MP rear snapper is more special. On the orther hand, when it comes to selfies, we cannot tell you exactly which one is the strongest. Although P9 Max and A9 Pro have 8MP sensors which surely can produce gorgeous pics of yourself, the Mi5 Pro’s 4MP UltraPixel sensor is not something they should look down on. Mi5 Pro’s secondary snapper can totally bring high-res selfies with high contrast and pleasant colors. So, in the end, it is pretty hard for us to pick out the winner. Can you help us?
