One of the best Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Huawei, has just revealed its newest flagship Honor 7. The handset’s model number known “PLK-L01” spotted on the database of SIRIM. The Honor 7 is supposed to be released in Malaysia not so far.

The smartphone will not only come with the nice design but also the sophisticated technology. The Honor 7 appears with the elegant all-metal covers. It is well-equipped with the 5.2-inch 1080p resolution screen as well as the HiSilicon Krin 935 processor. The smartphone will have 3GB of RAM, 16GB or 64GB of internal storage which is expandable via microSD card up to 128GB. The battery is great with the 3,100 mAh capacity with the fast charging support. It is powered by the UI 3.1 based on Android version 5.0 Lollipop.

For taking the photograph, the Honor 7 camera supports up to 20-megapixel for the main camera, together with the 8-megapixel front-facing one which enables you to focus a subject in just 0.1 second. There are also fingerprint sensor, along with the 4G connectivity.

The smartphone will come out in three variants regard of different specs. There will be the best version with the 64GB storage and 4G capability. We are hoping to see the upcoming Huawei Honor 7 soon in Malaysia.

Available and Price

According to the previous generation, the Huawei Honor 6 Plus, it was taken for just 4 months to reach the market in Malaysia. So, it is expected that Honor 7 will be likely to arrive here soon. The Honor 7 has just been first released in June 2015 and would cost around $330 which is approximatly RM1000 for the Hornor 7 price in Malaysia . With these above specifications, this pice is considered as the affordable one.

Besides introducing a new smartphone called Huawei Mate 7 Plus, another version of Mate 7, at IFA 2015, it is likely that Huawei will be also releasing a new device with curved screen to draw more attention from people this year.

Google Nexus 5 (2015) leaked image – Fingerprint sensor and Laser-focus camera

Although Google has not revealed anything about the upcoming Nexus smartphone, there are some leaked images which give some information about the back of the handset.

As we can see that the case features three holes, one for the camera, another for flash light and an odd hole below the camera which is predicted for the fingerprint sensor. Previously, there was a source said that fingerprint sensor will be integrated with Motorola logo.

Then, the area for flash light seems larger than the usual size, so maybe this will be area for dual flash together with the laser port alike the LG G4. It can be assumed that the information of Nexus 5 (2015) will be produced by LG brand can be true.

Expectedly, Nexus 5 will be one of the first smartphone running Android OS M. Moreover, the Nexus 5 (2015) is predicted to have the USB Type-C also.

The upcoming Google Nexus 5 (2015) specs may sport a 5.2-inch full HD display with 1080 x 1920 resolution, the new Snapdragon 820 processor and feature octa – core CPU. I will be equipped 4GB of DDR4 RAM, the internal storage is ranging from 3GB to 128GB, a 3180mAh non-removable battery, wireless charging receiver and Marvell Avastar 88W8897 connectivity chipset for Wi-fi and Blutooth 4.2.

Also, with the new design of the secondary snapper, HUAWEI ATH-AL00 is able to sport a slimmer border at the top. Meanwhile, the bottom seems a bit thicker and contains no home button. We wonder if the manufacturer intends to build a fingerprint scanner on the phone or not, but if yes, where can it be? Some people say that the sensor will be included in the cam eject button. Sounds interesting?

Well, apart from the above images, TENAA does not give us more info about the HUAWEI ATH-AL00 specs. The only thing we can try to predict here is that it can have a dual SIM (as there are two slots on the phone’s side) and according to some rumors it will probably boast a powerful Kirin processor and 4GB RAM.

To conclude, we feel pretty interested in the Huawei ATH-AL00 pop-up selfife camera. Hopefully other HUAWEI ATH-AL00 specs will also be impressive, making it a new flagship of the Huawei Honor series. 

According to TrendForce, Samsung has been the number one for shipments in the Q2 of 2015 all over the world. Its market share accounts for 26.8% and the strong sales of Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge definitely play important roles in that success.

So, Huawei Honor 4A launch date and place have been set. It will occur on July 21 at the Beijing Galaxy Soho in China, which will also be a part of Huawei Summer Whirlwind festival from 21-23 July. Besides, a teaser of Honor 4A has been released, showing some musical instruments. That makes us think the new phone will probably have some special features for music or so. On the other, in the festival, Huawei products will be discounted also, but the number is not clear for now.

As for the Huawei Honor 4A specs and price, we have not been able to collect official info about them. However, the way they name the new Huawei reminds us of Xiaomi Redmi 2A. If it is produced to compete with the Redmi 2A, we predict that it could sport a 5-inch HD display, 1GB or 2GB RAM, 8GB of storage and an 8MP rear camera. And of course, the price would be very affordable like around 599 Yuan (RM367).

Nonetheless, in this case, we do not have to wait too long to have all the predictions confirmed since the Huawei Honor 4A is going to be unveiled next week, we don’t have to wait too long to get official details. We will keep updating this sub RM500 smartphone as soon as possible.

According to the listing, we got their model numbers: ATH-AL00, RIO-AL00 and CRR-AL00. The first one ATH-AL00 is mentioned as another member of Honor family. Therefore, we guess that it could be Huawei Honor 7 Plus with bigger screen or upgraded specs. Besides, the phone is likely to own a CNC body. Another model – CRR-AL00 – will come with dual SIM dual standby and support GSM / CDMA2000 / TD-LTE / FDD-LTE network. Apart from the above info, we also notice that the upcoming machines will sport Kirin 930 series chip instead of the new Kirin 950 chip.

According to many people, Kirin 950 performance and heating are better than the upcoming Snapdragon generation processor – Snapdragon 820. That even makes Huawei Mate 8 more appealing!

Lately, there has been a leaked picture which is considered as Huawei Mate 8 render. Looking at the pic, the machine seems quite simple and similar to Huawei Mate 7. The Huawei logo on the front surface disappears and while the fingerprint scanner is still placed on the back. The whole handset appears to be made of metal material which gives it a premium look.

The leak also mentioned that Huawei Mate 8 would be equipped with 6.0-inch 2K display, dual SIM and a combo of 8.0MP front and 20.7MP rear camera. There would be 2 versions to be on sale: 3GB RAM plus 32GB ROM and 4GB RAM plus 64GB ROM. Besides, the LTE band is said to be upgraded to Cat 10 level, bringing up to 450Mbps network downloading speed.

However, the leak has been not confirmed yet though some insider revealed that Huawei manufacturer is having some plan for a new Mate device which is claimed to be very stunning with top technology. It could be Huawei Mate 7 Plus, Mate 7S or the rumored Huawei Mate 8. Let’s wait and see!
