The device has only been spotted recently on TENAA, and will replace the Honor V8 announced last year. Design-wise, the phone has a full-metal body with a body thickness around 7mm.

In terms of Huawei V9 Glory specs, it will likely feature a 5.7 inch 2K display screen, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The phone will be powered by Huawei’s top proccessor, the Kirn 960 octa-core. It also comes with 4/6GB RAM + 64GB ROM, expandable up to 128GB. In terms of optics, it is going to have the same dual 12 MP rear camera found on the regular Honor 8, plus an 8 MP front-facing camera. Moreover, there’s a fingerprint scanner on the back.

The Honor 8 Pro should look like his Chinese sibling, Honor V9, but without the China Mobile’s logo on the back. The upcoming high-end phone will be released in March or April. Unfortunately, we don’t have any information about the price. So far, there are no clues about the price and availibity.

First, let’s take a look at the most important specs: CPU and RAM. In terms of Huawei P10 Plus specs, it will be powered by a Kirin 960 octa-core (4 x 2.4GHz + 4 x 1.8GHz) with 6/8GB RAM. Meanwhile, Asus Zenfone AR specs include a Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor, along with 6/8GB of RAM. So both phones seem to be on equal terms in this aspect.

Huawei just released a teaser image, announcing the officially release date of Huawei Honor V9 with 6GB RAM and dual cameras this February.

Huawei Honor V9: 6GB RAM, dual cameras

A few days ago, there was a leak about the Huawei Honor V9 on Weibo, however the phone has a different name back then so no one is sure about it. But today, Huawei has official announced the release date of the Honor V9 with a teaser image. According to the image, the phone will be unveiled on February 21, just one week before the 2017 Mobile World Congress (MWC). For now, there are no additional images or details about the phone design, but we were able to get a hold on the list of specs this device is going to have.

In terms of Huawei Honor V9 specs, it features a 5.7″ 2K IPS-NEO LCD display screen, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. Huawei Honor V9 will come in two variants: one version with 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM, the other with 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM. Huawei Honor V9 cameras are another notable specs. The phone is mounted with dual cameras 12MP + 2MP on the back with phase detection autofocus features and dual LED flash. The cameras are capable of recording 2160p@30fps and 1080p@60fps videos. The front camera is 8MP f/2.4, capable of taking 1080p videos.

Huawei Honor V9 is powered by a Kirin 960 octa-core (4 x 2.4GHz & 4 x 1.8GHz, along with Mali-G71 MP8 GPU. Other features include a non-removable 3900mAh battery without fast battery charging technology. The phone also has a fingerprint scanner on the back and will support USB Type-C. The phone’s storage is expandable storage up to 256GB via SIM 2 slot. It will run on the latest Android 7.0 version with Huawei Emotion UI 5.0.

Well, we already knew that the phone will be unveiled on February 21, so we suspect it will go on sale immediately after that. Obviously, it will be sold in China first, but other countries may have to wait for a while though. As for Huawei Honor V9 price, the phone is expected to be sold around $335 ~ RM. 1490.
