Samsung patented augmented reality wearable technology
Recently, Samsung has been said to be working on an “augmented reality wearable technology” that can be much better than Google Glass…
So, what is “augmented reality wearable technology”?
Google Glass (which is like a pair of eyeglasses but basically with the lens being an interactive, smartphone-like display, natural language voice command support, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity to perform tasks you command by saying) is an interesting toy by perhaps not as successful as the company has expected. However, now you can look forward to what Samsung is having in the works: augmented reality wearable technology.
In order words, it is a kind of tech equipped with “smart” contact lenses able to take pics by blinking your eye(s) thanks to some special sensors. Amazing, rite?! And if it comes true, Samsung will be the first one in the world to do that, according to technology blogSammobile. Speaking more specifically, Samsung has been spotted filing a patent in South Korea for “a smart contact lens fitted with a camera and image display”.
Though, the concept design requires a smartphone to wirelessly connect to the lenses. All of this actually started in September 2014, but has just been public lately. Now, you can see some of the lens’ images featuring some blueprint designs as below.
Available this April?
Anyway, we guess it is still pretty soon to say if the tech will be introduced this year. A patent does not have to be “a definitive go-ahead” and maybe it is just for preventing any rival from running with the idea. Then, let’s take it with a pinch of salt! OK, it’s your turn to tell us what you think about the plan.

What else should Samsung users expect? It could be a water and dust resistant phone. So we may not worry about accidentally dropping into water. Or don’t mind its look because of dust. With those Samsung Galaxy Note 6 specs, can it be even hotter than iPhone 7 already? Do you want to know about Samsung Galaxy Note 6 price and release date? OK, let’s move on.

Samsung’s foldable phone to come in 2016
Some new leaks about the world’s first foldable smartphone produced by Samsung have been spotted. Let’s check out what it offers and looks like!
Samsung‘s foldable phone is coming true!
Back to 2015, at the end of the year, a foldable phone was leaked once under the name Project Valley. Apparently, it was being made by Samsung, consisting of two screens that could be folded, literally, and about to be introduced in January 2016. Well, January passed and saw no foldable phone. And at the time we thought it would just be a concept, the device was mentioned once again.
Speaking more specifically, a latest report from Korea has informed us that Sammy will start mass-producing foldable displays at end of this year. Some of its specifications have also been unveiled. According to the report, the upcoming Samsung’s foldable machine will pack a 5.0-inch screen “in folded form”, and can turn into a 7.0-inch tablet when being un-folded or opened (like what you see in the picture). Interesting, huh?!
Apart from the special display, some other sources even suggest that the firm is testing both Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 and SD 820 chip to run the Project Valley smartphone, while 3 GB of RAM will also be on board to help. So, those are what we’ve got so far. Hopefully more Project Valley specs will be revealed in the next weeks.
Project Valley price and availability
Please note that the handset’s mass production will be conducted in late 2016 and the phone will arrive next year. This will be a truly new step in the mobile market. As for the foldable smartphone price, no word has been made yet, but we predict it can cost around $700. What do you think? Is it a reasonable tag? If not, can you suggest another one?

New Samsung C series is in the works, coming with affordable price
Samsung is said to be working on a new smartphone series starting with letter C. It means you will have something like Samsung Galaxy C… in the near future…
The very first 2 members of the Samsung C series are in the works!
According to some recent news, Samsung is working on a new smartphone series and it can be called Samsung Galaxy C… Speaking more specifically, an import listing on Indian customs database Zauba showed a model coded as SM-C5000. Obviously, Samsung wants to expand their business as much as possible this year after receiving a lot of positive feedback for the flagship duo S7 and S7 edge. And they are doing it by starting a brand new line-up to bring more tastes to consumers and the mobile market. Well, that can be a brilliant strategy, don’t you think?
Back to our device, one of its features has been seen: a handy 5.2-inch display. Other specifications are still unknown for now. Besides the SM-C5000, it is said that another one named SM-C7000 is also in development, yet screen size as well as other specs hasn’t been specified. Although there is not much information about the Samsung C line, we are so excited to see it in person. Hope that the firm will also equip them with completely new designs.
So far Samsung has introduced quite many series whose names are based on Latin alphabet: S-A-J-E-Z. And now we have to add C to that. On the other hand, some assume C stands for China, so the C-series is meant primarily for the Chinese market. It makes sense, rite?! But, let’s wait a bit more for the manufacturer’s official announcement.
Samsung C series price and availability
As for cost, the source suggested that the first machine of the C family could be priced at INR 13,625 (or $205). If so, we’re sure it’s gonna be a great deal. About its launch, no words have been made, yet we predict it can happen some time in the Q3 of 2016 or even earlier. Now, tell us your opinions about the coming C line-up!

This month is so busy but we love it since many 4GB RAM smartphones are on sale, including Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), Xiaomi Mi5 Pro, and Huawei P9 Max. Let’s see how they can compete in the following comparison!
Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro vs Xiaomi Mi5 Pro vs Huawei P9 Max: Awesome 4GB RAM Flagship War

Looking at the table, we can notice the phones’ similarities easily. For example, all of them have the same powerful 4GB RAM, the latest Android Marshmallow OS, fantastic camera combos, dual SIMs, and fingerprint scanners. Though, there are also many important differences we need to note. First of all, it is display. Both Huawei P9 Max and Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro are big phablets with around 6.0-inch screens. But if you prefer something handier, Xiaomi Mi5 Pro is the perfect choice. In terms of resolution, P9 Max is definitely the winner thanks to sporting 2K res.
As for processor, we think Snapdragon 652, Snapdragon 820 and Kirin 950 are all strong to perform any task you want, yet the SD820 can slightly have advantages. About ROM capacity, the Mi5 Pro is the champion once again, up to 128GB of internal storage. However, it does not support a microSD card slot to expand the memory. Anyway, we guess 128GB is already much enough for everything. Do you agree?
In the final paragraph, we would like to talk about battery and camera. No doubt the A9 Pro is the best here because of its massive 5,000mAh cell. You can use the phone in more than 3 days. So cool, rite?! And for main camera, both A9 Pro and Mi5 Pro own 16MP shooters which are great, yet we think the P9 Max’s dual 12MP rear snapper is more special. On the orther hand, when it comes to selfies, we cannot tell you exactly which one is the strongest. Although P9 Max and A9 Pro have 8MP sensors which surely can produce gorgeous pics of yourself, the Mi5 Pro’s 4MP UltraPixel sensor is not something they should look down on. Mi5 Pro’s secondary snapper can totally bring high-res selfies with high contrast and pleasant colors. So, in the end, it is pretty hard for us to pick out the winner. Can you help us?
Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro vs Xiaomi Mi5 Pro vs Huawei P9 Max: Price and availability
As you know, Galaxy A9 Pro and Mi5 Pro and Huawei P9 Max have been announced recently. Anyhow, their costs have already been unveiled: Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro price is $540; Xiaomi Mi5 Pro price is $415; and Huawei P9 Max price will be around $700. The Mi5 Pro is the most affordable here and its hardware is also powerful excellent. Then, we would like to choose it as the champion today. What’s your thinking?
iPhone SE VS Galaxy S7 Mini: Best “mini” battle ever!

Besides, the whole machine runs on iOS 9.3 and gets energy from a non-removable 1,642mAh battery. As for photography, you can use its 12MP f/2.2 rear camera (with PDAF plus dual LED flash) or 1.2MP f/2.4 front snapper (with face detection, HDR plus FaceTime over Wi-Fi or Cellular) to take pictures. In general, iPhone SE is a very decent device that can do any task you want well. How about Samsung Galaxy S7 mini?
It’s like Samsung has decided to join the sub 5.0-inch smartphone race since some information about a mini version of the flagship Galaxy S7 has been leaked recently. Spec-wise, it is said to pack a 4.6-inch HD display. Apart from that feature, other Samsung Galaxy S7 mini specs will be the same as its bigger sibling: either Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8890 chip(or both), yet with 3GB of RAM paired with 32/64GB of ROM (expandable). Furthermore, the handset can also sport a “periscope lens” with 3x optical zoom for its 12MP main shooter.
So, talking about designs, we bet both iPhone SE and the upcoming Galaxy S7 mini are all beautiful, pocketable as well as easy to hold. However, if we really need to pick out a stronger smartphone, it is the Samsung Galaxy S7 mini that is a bit better than its rival in terms of hardware. Do you agree?

Samsung Galaxy S7 MINI – direct rival to iPhone SE
As Apple iPhone SE with a 4 inch display is becoming a trend, Samsung is announcing that after the release of Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, there will be a mini version coming up the way.
Samsung Galaxy S7 Mini – direct rival to iPhone SE
Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge were launched not long ago, and have received very positive feed backs for their awesome features. With a 12MP and f/1.7, 26mm lens, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge camera was entitled the best among all current smartphones. But they are not going to take a rest any time soon. As iPhone SE has made smaller sized smartphones more of a trend again, Samsung is about to manufacture their own handset to join the competition.
Samsung Galaxy S7 mini specs is said to include a 46 inch display with 720p resolution. The smartphone will use the same hardware from its bigger sibling: either Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8890 (or both), but with a slightly smaller RAM of 3GB. The whole handset measures 9.9 mm in thickness yet rumored to sport a “periscope lens” with 3x optical zoom. The camera of this phone will also has 12MP resolution on the back. There will be 2 internal memory variants: 32GB and 64GB, both expandable to another 200GB.
There is no hint about Samsung Galaxy S7 mini price yet. Nor is there reveal about its release. However, with similar powerful features and a smaller RAM, this mini version will definitely cost less than its bigger sibling. We are predicting a price tag of around USD 450 – USD 500, which is equivalent to around PHP 21,000 and RS 30,000
Samsung Galaxy S7 Mini: smaller doesn’t mean weaker
As you may have already noticed, more and more smartphones are launching with a small display that falls into the 4-inch category. Being one of the pioneers to join the game, Samsung Galaxy S7 mini targets to raise direct competition with the famous iPhone SE. If you are the one who decides, which among the 2 is a better deal?
Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge camera: best smartphone camera among all
Sony Xperia Z5 camera has been known as the best among all smartphones. However, things just changed now, since Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge was officially launched.
Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge camera: the new winner
DxOMark, the same Benchmark that did multiple test and ranked Sony Xperia Z5 camera as best in the world, has now given Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge that title. Although Samsung sensor for their camera is definitely famous for its high quality and awesome color display, the company is still working on and raising the bar higher with their latest flagship. It appears to be surprising for many of us when Samsung downgraded the camera resolution from 16MP to “only” 12MP yet won the best camera tittle.
Despite the downsized resolution, Galaxy S7 Edge camera gets a brighter f/1.7 lens, larger pixels and faster focus. These appealing features are all thanks to the company’s new Dual-Pixel sensor. This explained why DxOMark, the famous camera benchmark, after thorough tests, has just announce Galaxy S7 Edge as the new “smartphone champion”. The device scored an overall result of 88 points, which is 1 point higher than the previous record-keeper Xperia Z5 by Sony.
The Benchmark gave out very detailed and careful testing result on each and every feature of the camera, from exposure to autofocus, from contrast to stabilization, both on photo and video mode. DxOMark even emphazied that, the Galaxy S7 edge offers excellent image quality for both indoor and outdoor shots. Isn’t this a great piece of news for any photo-geek ?
Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge camera: best among all smartphone
With the test result from DxOMark, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge camera has officially became the new winner among all smartphone in the market nowadays. The beast, with only 12MP rear camera, has proven that resolution is important, yet not the only that matters. In order to have the best image quality, it is the camera sensor that makes the difference.

Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge were launched earlier and immediately win the hearts of users around the world. Here are 4 features that make them best 2016 flagships
1. Beautiful and handy design

The smartphones nail it to offer what users need: a premium design, a handy body, easy to grab in hand and easier to use and perform. Samsung Galaxy J5 and J7 (2016) showed up with full design and specs
Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) and J5 (2015) designs are revealed. Check out how the phones look like and what they can offer us!
Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) and J7 (2016) showed up with detailed appearance and specifications
Last year, Samsung released two mid-rangers called Galaxy J5 and J7 and also known as the company’s first smartphones to pack LED flashes on the front for selfies. Perhaps because they were able to attract a lot of people, Samsung has decided to make their 2016 versions. Though there has been no word for the official Galaxy J5 (2016) and J7 (2016) launch yet, lately China’s Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center has been spotted to be approving the handsets.
Design-wise, both machines look pretty alike, expect for the sizes. The J7 will be larger due to boasting a 5.5-inch Full HD display while the J5’s screen just measures 5.2 inches with HD resolution. If we have to compare them with the 2015 models, we admit that the new seem a bit more elegant and premium despite still being made of plastic. Do yo agree? Spec-wise, accordingly, the J7 (2016) will come with two variants coded as SM-J7108 and SM-J7109. However, the difference is just their chipsets: octa-core 1.6GHz (said to be Exynos 7870) and octa-core (4 x 1.5GHz + 4 x 1.2GHz) processor.
Apart from those details, Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) specs will contain LTE network, a 13MP/5MP camera combo (with LED flash on the front for sure), 3GB RAM, and 16GB expandable ROM and a 3,300mAh battery. As for Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) specs, it will sport the same shooters as the J7’s along with a quad-core 1.2GHz chip, 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable ROM.
Good and bad news
More interestingly, it is likely that both J5 and J7 will be equipped with laser auto focus for their rear cams, making them, again, the Samsung’s first smartphones to own this kind of technology. That is such good news, rite? But, unfortunately, the devices will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, not the latest Marshmallow. Hopefully it will be changed when J5 and J7 officially debut.
