After the introduction of the Vivo S17 series, the vivo S18 series is going to hit the market with an attractive design featuring brocade elements etched on the back glass. In general, the S18 and S18 Pro share the same design and curved displays, with the Pro offering more capable cameras. Both vivo S18 specs and vivo S18 Pro specs flaunt a 6.78-inch AMOLED with 1260 x 2800 pixels. However, powering the S18 phone is the Dimensity 9200+ chipset compared to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 on the S18. Also, the vivo S18e specs tone down a Dimensity 7200 SoC and have a smaller 6.67-inch AMOLED display.

Regarding memory capacity, the Vivo S18 series should have several storage options: 256GB/ 8GB RAM, 256GB/ 12GB RAM, and 512GB/ 12GB RAM (no card slot). Notably, all phone boot OriginOS 4 based on Android 14 and features 5,000 mAh batteries with 80W fast charging. What about the photography department? The large camera island is now noticeably split into two squares, with the top half housing the cameras while the bottom features the AuraLight LED and a dedicated LED flash. AuraLight is programmable with varying light and temperature strengths, which adapt to the shooting scenario.

In detail, the vivo S18 Pro camera setup includes a 50MP main camera with a 1/1.49” Sony IMX920 sensor and OIS, a 50MP ultrawide lens with a Samsung JN1 sensor, and a 12MP telephoto module with 2x optical zoom. Besides, the S18 camera comprises a 50MP OmniVision OV50E main shooter with OIS and an 8MP OmniVision OV08D10 ultrawide lens. Additionally, the panels on the front feature a punch-hole cutout for the 50MP camera, boasting a 90-degree field of view and autofocus. On the other hand, the vivo S18e camera setup brings a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main sensor and a 2MP depth helper at the back. For selfies, there is a 16MP front-facing lens. As for color options, both vivo S18 and S18 Pro come in black, green, and silver, while the vivo S18e comes in black, silver, and purple.

The vivo S18 series is going to debut in China on December 22 and globally available from January 13.
