Vivo X21 UD to launch internationally with 6GB RAM and Dual Cam
As we all know, the Vivo X21 UD went on sale in China back in February and is only now starting international rollout. The first market to receive the phone with an under the display fingerprint scanner is Singapore. It is available on May 5 at $799 and through telcos M1, StarHub and other authorised retailers. Vivo rep also announced that home-grown singer/songwriter Nathan Hartono would be its music ambassador for Singapore.
“I’m a huge tech nerd, and it is always great to find a device that fits your daily needs. Its headphone jack means one less device to carry around, and I can use my existing headphones with this device,” Mr Hartono said. In details, Vivo X21 UD specs pack a large 6.28-inch Super AMOLED screen with resolutions of 1080 x 2280 pixels and a notch on the top.
On the other hand, the new Vivo device gets power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. In addition, the Vivo X21 UD sports 6GB RAM with 128GB ROM that can be expandable up to 256GB via MicroSD card. Moreover, for the battery box, this Vivo X21 variant packs a non-removable Li-Ion 3200mAh juice box. Under the hood, the new Vivo phone runs on FunTouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo as the operating system. Furthermore, the Vivo X21 UD camera features a dual 12MP+5MP snapper on the back. Meanwhile, the selfie shooter sports 12MP with an aperture of f/2.0.
Vivo X21 UD release date and price
Previously, the Chinese variant went on sale in February for $572 ~ Rm. 2,184. As for the international edition, Vivo X21 UD release date will be on May 5th for Singapore. As for the cost, Vivo X21 UD price begins at SGD 799.
