As we learned, the Chinese phone maker has announced its X30 series smartphone this month, including the Vivo X30 and the Vivo X30 Pro. Today, our spotlight belongs to the Vivo X40 with the premium design and fantastic specs. In terms of the display, this Vivo smartphone offers a 6.9-inch Super AMOLED with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Besides, this phone has a tall 20:9 aspect ratio.
Moreover, this device takes power from the Exynos 980 5G chipset as the processor. On the other side, for storage, this smartphone arrives in three memory versions: 8GB of RAM/ 128GB ROM, 8GB of RAM/ 256GB ROM, and 12GB of RAM/ 256GB ROM. Furthermore, there is a MicroSD card to expand the storage up to 1TB. Coming to the software system, this phone ships with Android Q as the operating system.
How about the battery? Keeping the lights on is a huge 5000mAh energy box. Also, it comes equipped with a fast-charging tech. On the back, this device rocks a penta-lens camera setup. It consists of a 64MP primary lens + 32MP secondary shooter + 12MP ultra-wide sensor + 8MP wide lens + 2MP depth sensor. Back to the front, there is a single 32MP lens for taking selfies and video calling. Whereas, this Vivo smartphone also features an under-display fingerprint scanner for security.
Release date and price
Until now, the Chinese phone maker hasn’t unveiled the official debut and pricing of this Vivo smartphone. Hopefully, we can meet this device in the second quarter of this year.
