Xiaomi Meri spotted on Antutu: octa-core, 3GB RAM
A new phone from Xiaomi has just been spotted on both Antutu and Geekbench- Xiaomi Meri. According to these benchmarks, this phone will come with 3GB RAM and octa-core processor.
Xiaomi Meri: octa-core, 3GB RAM
A few days ago, a new budget Xiaomi was leaked online with many cool specs. The phone was reported to Xiaomi 5C. However, this phone is not Xiaomi 5C as we thought before. It comes with a different name- Xiaomi Meri. Recently, this new Xiaomi handset has just been spotted on both Antutu and Geekbench. Not only Xiaomi Meri but its renders also showed up online.
First, let’s have a look at the phone on Antutu. This handset gets the score of 63,581. With this point, Meri is made for the mid-range segment. About Xiaomi Meri specs, the phone will run on an octa-core processor. In which, 4 Cortex- A53 cores will be clocked at about 2.2Ghz, the other Cortex-A53 will run at 1.4Ghz. Under the hood, there will be Mali- T864 GPU. Besides, the new phone from Xiaomi will have a 5.5-inch Full HD display.
With Geekbench benchmark, Meri will run on a 1.4Ghz octa-core processor paired with 3GB RAM. It will use Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. About the scores, it has 758 points for the single-core score and 3040 points for the multi-core score.
Xiaomi Meri: tough budget rival
With an octa-core processor and 3GB RAM, this new handset is aimed at the mid-range segment. It will be the tough rival in the 3GB RAM market like HTC Bolt or Lenovo K6 Power. According to some sources, this Chinese company will bring this phone to the market in the near future. This is not the only Xiaomi phone which will come out in the upcoming time.
