Is Xiaomi Mi Note 3’s camera better than Apple iPhone and HTC U11?
Regarding the Xiaomi Mi Note 3, this handset is the next member of the Xiaomi Mi Note series. Xiaomi has released this smartphone in September. However, there is also a new variant with MediaTek coming out last November. Now, let’s talk about this handset’s camera system. Xiaomi Mi Note 3 specs sport dual 12MP (f/1.8, 27mm, 4-axis OIS) + 12MP (f/2.6, 52mm) primary snappers. Additionally, this setup also includes features like 2x optical zoom, phase detection autofocus, dual-LED dual-tone flash. Furthermore, there is also a 16 MP (2.0 µm) selfie snapper.
This December, Xiaomi Mi Note 3 went under a camera test by DxO Labs. After the trial, the Xiaomi handset received 94 points in the photography department. Meanwhile, this Xiaomi flagship raised 82 ratings in the video shooting section. According to DxOMark, the Mi Note 3’s camera system has accurate autofocus and zoom capabilities. Notably, this handset can shoot photos with noise reduction in different lighting conditions and capture fantastic bokeh effect shots. Previously, Apple iPhone 8, Google Pixel and HTC U11 have respectively scored 93, 90 and 90 in the DxOMark photography benchmarks.
On a different note, Xiaomi Mi Note 3 specs sport a 5.5-inch Full HD screen with the resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Under the hood, this Xiaomi flagship runs on a Qualcomm Plus Snapdragon 660 chipset and 6GB RAM. Regarding the storage, the Mi Note 3 offers 64GB RAM, which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD. However, this Xiaomi handset comes with Android 7.1 (Nougat) out of the box. Finally, this smartphone has a non-removable Li-Ion 3500 mAh battery.
