Xiaomi Mi4 Price: It gets a price cut of nearly RM180!
Latest news announces that Xiaomi Mi4 has shipped more than a million models to consumers and they may set a higher target number in the near future. It seems like reducing prices of some former models can help achieve the company’s goal. As you remember, from April 8 onwards, Xiaomi Mi4 price has been set at 1,799 Yuan (RM1,060) after a price reduction from 1,999 Yuan (RM1,175). And today, Xiaomi Mi4 2GB version continues to cut down nearly RM180 to let buyers purchase a Mi4 with a cheaper price of 1,499 Yuan (RM882). Considering its new price tag and Xiaomi Mi4 specs of Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 5-inch 1080p screen, 13MP main and 8MP front camera, it is surely worth considering though there are many flagship smartphones on the market nowadays.
Xiaomi Mi4 Price
In March, 2015, at a conference, Lei Jun, Xiaomi’s CEO, confirmed that their goal for Xiaomi phone shipments in 2015 is from 80 million to 100 million units. Moreover, according to the previous release of Xiaomi road map, Xiaomi Mi4S will also be launched this June. So, we guess that besides making Mi4 more affordable, Xiaomi also wants to prepare for the appearance of Mi4S by cutting down Mi4 price.
That’s what’s going to happen in China, how about Xiaomi Mi4 Malaysia? If the manufacturer also applies this news to Malaysia, it is likely that we just need to pay around RM900 as Xiaomi Mi4 price in Malaysia for such a pretty phone with good specs.
