Xiaomi Mi5 and Mi5 Plus Specs: 2K screen, Snapdragon Sense ID and amazing cameras
Once again, we receive leaks about the new Xiaomi flagship duo: Xiaomi Mi5 and Mi5 Plus. According to the Xiaomi’s roadmap 2015, this duo will debut in November; however, we can see that they have been drawing a lot of attention from phone users these days. People expect that Xiaomi Mi5 and Mi5 Plus will own all the best technologies that will also be introduced at the end of the year.
Nevertheless, some current leaks say that Xiaomi Mi5 is going to sport a 5.2-inch 2K screen but not with Snapdragon 820. Instead, it will use Snapdragon 810 like the upcoming OnePlus 2. This news can cause some debates since SN810 is “famous” for overheating issue. Anyhow, we hope that at the time Xiaomi Mi5 is launched, the issue will have been solved successfully.
Xiaomi Mi5 and Mi5 Plus
On the other hand, we are informed that Xiaomi Mi5 will feature Qualcomm Snapdragon Sense ID. It is said that the tech can be used with some older Qualcomm processors, but at the moment, it is mainly introduced in the SN 810 and 425. Other than that, some Xiaomi Mi5 specs are revealed such as 16 mega-pixel rear camera, 13 mega-pixel front-facing shooter, 2K 5.2-inch panel and 3,000mAh battery.
As for Xiaomi Mi5 Plus, the machine is anticipated to have a 5.7-inch 2K screen, Snapdragon 820 chip, 23 mega-pixel primary cam and 12 mega-pixel secondary snapper. There could be a 3,500mAh batt that charges up to 100% in just 50 minutes to power the handset, and both devices will run on the new version of MIUI, MIUI 7.
To recap, Xiaomi Mi5 and Mi5 Plus are two of the most expected products from Xiaomi in the second half of 2015. Though leaks are made every day about this duo, none of them gets official confirmation from the company.
