9 Steps to check if your Xiaomi PowerBank is Real

• The most important is to purchase your Xiaomi devices ONLY from authorised resellers or directly from Xiaomi. Dont go for those scalpers. What about outside of China?
• Please read enough reviews, google the Reseller and talk to your friends to find a legit source.
• First thing is if you bought the Xiaomi Powerbank, check here if the serial number matches the official Xiaomi records.
• The Real XiaomI Powerbank comes with plastic packaging. If your battery comes with paper packaging, its likely fake.
• Inspect the Metal Casing of the Xiaomi Powerbank closely. The real PowerBank has a very high quality finish with a beautiful XiaomI Logo. The Fakes have low quality finish, and the Logo looks different.
• Check closely for sharp or rough edges, you wont find them on Original.
• The text on the bottom of your original Xiaomi Powerbank is light grey and clearly and crisp readable. On Clone Powerbanks the ink is darker and not as high quality finished.
• If you charge the Original Battery, the lights should not blink.
• When you charge the real Xiaomi Powerbank, you need to press the power button and the LED Lights will stay on. With the fake PowerBank they will charge without pressing and LED’s will blink
