According to our legit sources, the Chinese brand is launching the new Redmi A2 series in India this May. The family includes two handsets: the Redmi A2 and Redmi A2+. Regarding the design, they share many similarities. Firstly, the two handsets now run on the Helio G36 SoC processor. Furthermore, they pack a great 5000mAh battery box. For the display, Xiaomi Redmi A2 specs sport a 6.52 inches IPS LCD with a 720 x 1600 pixels resolution.

Based on the listing, the Xiaomi Redmi A2+ specs also carry the same setup. How about the photography system? The Xiaomi Redmi A2 camera packs dual 8 MP, f/2.0, (wide) + 0.08 MP (depth) on the rear. Meanwhile, it has a single 5 MP, f/2.2 lens up front. On the other hand, its brother Xiaomi Redmi A2+ camera, also sports the same setup. Other camera features included are Dual-LED flash, and HDR for the main sensor.

There is also 1080p@30fps video recording for the selfie lens. Regarding the design, both smartphones have a leather finish and a notch display. Moreover, they run on Android 12 (Go Edition) out of the box. The two handsets should arrive with a light green, light blue, and black color option.
