Recently, the reports on the Redmi K20‘s successor once again become the hot topics online. Moreover, the Chinese brand finally confirmed that Redmi K30 is going to be the first 5G smartphone launch of their brand. Besides, it can support both SA and NSA networks. In the “Digital Chat Station” page on Weibo, a China-based blogger has hinted that the Redmi K30 5G model is getting power from a MediaTek chipset, instead of Qualcomm.
On the other side, Redmi K30 specs can offer a 6.0-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Under the hood, this Redmi flagship comes in different variants: 6GB/ 8GB of RAM and 256GB/ 512GB of onboard storage. Besides, there is a MicroSD card which can be expandable up to 512GB. Furthermore, the Xiaomi Redmi device should come running on the latest Android 9.0 Pie on the operating system.
How about the optics department? The Xiaomi Redmi K30 camera comprises of triple rear snappers. In detail, it carries a 60MP primary sensor + 20MP ultra-wild sensor + 8MP depth sensor. On the front, it features a punch-hole design with a sizeable cutout on the top right corner to accommodate dual 24MP + 16MP selfie cameras. As for the capacity department, the Xiaomi handset bears a non-removable 4500mAh battery.

Redmi’s GM Lu Weibing has announced this smartphone would not be cheaper than the Redmi K20 series. As a result, the Redmi K30 price might start at ¥2,000 in China, which could translate to $286.
